Windows 7 Support Has Ended

What does “End of Support” mean for you? If you are still running computers with Windows 7, don’t panic, your system will continue to operate. However, you can expect popups and alerts from Microsoft and other programs notifying that you need to upgrade. While this will come as a nuisance to most of us, the critical fact is that you will no longer receive important security updates from Microsoft. Normal tasks such as checking your online banking accounts and shopping will no longer be advised. The security of Windows 7 will diminish over time, and you will have some programs that will stop supporting the operating system. Financial programs such as Quickbooks, Quicken, and Peachtree will be some of the first to discontinue support. Programs for shipping and receiving as well as web browser will also become less useful.
